Key Service Offerings
Four key service offerings make up our mission’s goal to serve the Greater Austin area. Click on the links below to see how.
Coordinated
Disaster Response
ADRN cultivates partnerships among churches, governments, non-profits, and business leaders to efficiently meet survivors’ needs. This coordinated effort requires strategic and timely communications, sharing available resources, and offering our expertise. ADRN staff and volunteers also get access “behind the yellow tape” during a crisis to serve our neighbors more effectively than any one organization or church could do on their own.
- Call Center
- Disaster Response Supplies
- Subject Matter Expertise
- Partnerships with churches, governments, non-profits, and business leaders
Survivor Care
When disaster strikes, ADRN quickly mobilizes to help survivors with cleanup, temporary housing, emergency finances and other essentials. Trained volunteers also meet with individuals and families to offer hope as they begin processing what they’ve endured. In the days, weeks, and months to follow, they can also connect with Disaster Relief Shepherds for resources to repair and rebuild their homes, ongoing emotional and spiritual care, and connection to local churches.
- Emergency funding and supplies
- Hope Family Thrift Store vouchers
- Individual Crisis Intervention through CISM+ and Chaplaincy
- Long-term recovery support through ADRN's Disaster Relief Shepherd Program
Training
The unique impact of disasters means those who respond need specific skills. ADRN offers training through in-person courses as well as online training to equip and empower disaster response volunteers. These same skills are often transferrable to other crisis and care scenarios, and are used for building up the Church to care for our neighbors as well.
- Live and on-demand training for physical, emotional, and spiritual support of survivors
Customized Preparedness Planning
ADRN offers expertise and customizable resources to help individuals, families, and organizations prepare for disasters in advance. A little bit of preparation goes a long way when it comes to weathering a crisis and recovering in the aftermath. We provide these planning services to help our community stay safer and become more resilient in the face of disasters.
