WHO: Community Volunteers (Individual or Groups)

WHAT TO WEAR (Volunteer Required to Bring):

  • Must wear long pants
  • Hard soled boots
  • Hat required
  • Volunteers may bring and use their own preferred leather gloves. 
  • NOTE: In the event of rain, rain gear may be warranted.

ADRN will Provide to Volunteers upon Check-In:

  • ADRN will provide gloves
  • N95 masks
  • Safety goggles
  • Mosquito spray and sunscreen

Clarifying Assigned Volunteer Tasks Upon Arrival:
Please be advised, that most requests are for debris removal and not muck-outs/clean-ups. The completed skill section of the Disaster Volunteer Registration Form will help ADRN operations determine assignments.

DAYS & VOLUNTEER DEPLOYMENT TIMES (just show up if ready to volunteer)
Monday-Saturday, 8:00AM-4PM, Training begins at 8:00AM; Sunday, 1pm-4pm.

**Groups are encouraged to come**

WHAT TO WEAR:
Long-sleeve shirt, jeans, boots or rubber boots (very muddy) or closed shoes (no sandals), leather gloves, sunscreen (if sunny) and hat for protection.

HOUSING:  Housing is not available at this time.

If you have a special diet, it is recommended that you bring your lunch and snacks.

  • 4  CISM Volunteers (2 per Division)
  • 2 Chaplain Volunteers (1 per Division)
  • 4 HAM Volunteers (1 per Division, 2 at staging)
  • 5 Admin Volunteers (5 for registration, 3 to remain for duration of the deployment) 
  • 2 Hot Shot Rovers Volunteers - With Trucks (2 at staging) 
  • 4 Logistics Volunteers - Staging Area

We will be taking calls from survivors and donors for the 2018 Hill Country Floods in the Call Center inside ADRN Headquarters.

We have miscellaneous administrative tasks that need to be completed in multiple areas (logistics, data entry, media, volunteer management, hospitality).

Skill: On-the-Job training will be provided.  Computer proficiency appreciated!
