Join the Network

Thank you for your heart in partnering together with churches across Greater Austin by joining the Austin Disaster Relief Network! You’re about to join hands with a vibrant, diverse community of God’s people who unite around Jesus, relationships, servanthood, and hope – and we’re excited to get you started!

By completing this form, you’ll provide essential information that we will enter into our network database, and have a chance to review and agree to the core commitments we are making to each other as a network of churches. We ask that only an officially authorized representative of your church organization complete this form.

If you have any questions about this form, the sector leader you’re currently working with would be glad to help answer them. However, you can also reach the Church Network Development team at churchnetwork@adrntx.org.

Commitments

In order to add value to the collective strength of the ADRN Church Network and to collaborate effectively with other churches on the network and the ADRN staff, our church commits to the following:

  1. Point of Contact: We will ensure there is always a clear Point of Contact designated for our church (preferably a trained DRC). In the event of a transition, we will take responsibility for filling this position and notifying ADRN staff of the new contact.
  2. Survivor Care: We will care for and support survivors of disasters within the Greater Austin area, utilizing our church’s care/support program that has been reviewed by ADRN staff and/or utilizing ADRN’s Disaster Relief Shepherd volunteer training.
  3. Disaster Relief Communications: We will develop and employ a strategy to communicate disaster relief needs (resources, giving, volunteer opportunities) to our congregation in the event of a mobilization effort.
  4. Preparedness & Training: We will intentionally pursue a greater level of preparedness and skills training for our attendees and volunteers year after year.
