Hurricane Helene made landfall late Thursday night (9/26) near Perry, Florida, as a Category 4 hurricane, bringing devastating wind speeds of up to 140 mph. It is reported as the strongest hurricane to ever impact Florida’s Big Bend region.
The storm left over 2.5 million people without power across four states, and currently has taken 21 lives along its deadly path. Flooding and standing water still threaten communities and families, as damage assessments continue while the storm makes its way up the East Coast.
ADRN is mobilizing in response to this crisis, and we urgently need your help to reach the families and communities affected.
We are positioned to provide life-changing support, working with local partners and churches to bring hope and healing to those in crisis.
Partner with the Austin Shoe Hospital and donate gently used shoes and boots! They will go directly to Hurricane Helene survivors who’ve lost everything.
Please drop off at any Austin Shoe Hospital location.

Hurricanes can happen without warning or damaging effects more devastating than expected. You and your family may need to evacuate at moment’s notice.
We strongly recommend that you prepare Grab & Go Bags for each family member as well as have a Family Evacuation Plan in place. Download free checklists for both of these today.
