Conflict Resolution in Times of Crisis Training - 3 Part Course Tuesdays June 9, 16 & 23 - 6:30PM - 9:30PM Course Time: 9 hours - Must complete three 3-hour modules to receive credit for course Register Here Do you feel challenged when it comes time to resolve conflicts between you and your loved ones, neighbors or co-workers? If so, this is the class that will not only equip you but will also give you the confidence to face the challenges we all face every day. ADRN is hosting this important spiritual training to provide the necessary tools for volunteers to help loved ones, friends, neighbors or victims affected by disaster, experiencing great stress and conflict within their marriage or family. The course will teach you how to deal and resolve conflict in a biblical and godly way. When you live stream you will need to complete tests by 5:00 PM the Thursday following at the end of the first two sessions to receive credit for the course. You will also need to attend Part 3 June 23 with Daniel Geraci at ADRN Headquarters, 1122 E. 51st Street, Austin, TX 78723 to complete requirements for the course.

CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) Virtual Simulation

Virtual Simulation | 3 Hours |  Saturday,  June 27, 12:00PM-3:15PM At your home on your computer This simulation gives the student virtual opportunity to exhibit skills in debriefing and practice administrative details in CISM response. All participants will join in a virtual classroom and group call to accomplish skills/administrative practice. All who successfully complete the online training and simulation will receive a certificate of completion in Disaster Psychological 1st Aid and CISM/CISD (Critical Incident Stress Management/Critical Incident Stress Debriefing) and your profile will be updated as certified for the course. Register Here Training cost is $75 - Scholarships ($37.50) are available to full-time students and those impacted financially. To apply for a scholarship go to www.adrn.org, click on Training then Scholarship Application. You may also consider volunteering in the Hope Family Thrift Store for 16 hours in lieu of registration fee (volunteer hours need to be served before registering for training).

DRS (Disaster Relief Shepherd) Training 6:30PM – 9:30PM ADRN Headquarters, 1122 E. 1st Street,  Austin, TX 78723 Training is FREE! Finish this training – sponsor a family! Click to register! DRS (Disaster Relief Shepherd) Training – Course Time 3 hours:  The Disaster Relief Shepherd (DRS) is one of  the most important leadership positions that a volunteer can fulfill within their church in times of disaster. The DRS role is to to walk along-side a family, that has potentially lost everything, who needs a Good Samaritan to walk with them through the process of recovery, until their feet are back on the ground. This training will equip ‘shepherds’ with the skills, knowledge, and plan to provide immediate and long-term assistance, that enables the survivor to re-establish a viable lifestyle. This position does not require that the shepherd make any personal financial investment or invite surviving families into their home. This training is FREE. A Background Check is required to become a shepherd. Finish this training and requirements and shepherd a family!

When you live stream you will need to complete a test by 5:00 PM the Thursday following at the end of each session to receive credit for the course.
