Conflict Resolution Training Course Time: 7 hours 6:30-10:00 PM (3.5 hrs each night) - Tuesdays, June 19 & 21 Location:  ADRN Headquarters, 1122 E. 51st St., Austin, TX 78723 Register Here Do you feel challenged when it comes time to resolve conflicts between you and your loved ones, neighbors or co-workers? If so, this is the class that will not only equip you but will also give you the confidence to face the challenges we all face every day. ADRN is hosting this important spiritual training to provide the necessary tools for volunteers to help loved ones, friends, neighbors or victims affected by disaster, experiencing great stress and conflict within their marriage or family. The course will teach you how to deal and resolve conflict in a biblical and godly way. This training will be live streamed at www.adrn.org/cr.  If you live stream you will need to submit a test questionnaire by 5PM each following day after each training session to receive credit for the course.

ADRN Headquarters, 1122 E. 51st Street, Austin, TX 78723 Saturday,  June 23, 8:45AM-5:00PM Course Time 8 hours: Participants will be able to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The program teach skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Students who successfully complete 8 hours of training and successfully demonstrate skills will receive a certificate from American Red Cross for CPR/First Aid/AED – Adult/Child/Infant which will be valid for two years. (RC Level 2). Training Cost is $95 50% Scholarships available for full-time students and those impacted by financial hardships.  Click here to apply for a scholarship. Location: Church at Canyon Creek, 9001 FM 520 North, Austin, TX 78726 Training dates are June 16, 23, 30, July 7 (skip 14), 21, & 28   Preparedness Peace covers topics of: Why Prepare, Teamwork and the Power of a Plan, How to be Water Wise and Food Sense, Power Alley, Having a Safe Home, About Grab & Go Bags, and Establishing Home Security. What you will accomplish by the end of Preparedness Peace is family plans and documents, safe home assessment, lighting and energy plans for power outage, evacuation plans with maps and routes, minimum three day food and water storage, car kit, home emergency supplies established, grab and go bags, shelter-in-place room and supplies and spiritual preparedness. The manual includes grab & go bag information, car and preparedness checklist, and more. This class is open to anyone that wants to attend. 26 hour training | 6 Nights of Training from 6:30PM-10:00PM (6:00PM on June 11 only for Registration) & Saturday, June 30, 8:00AM – 5:00PM (Simulation) Location: Austin Christian Church, 15501 RR 620 North #800, Austin, TX 78717 Course Dates: June 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 & June 30  ADRN CERT Training is a 7-day, FEMA backed, and nationally recognized course that will equip and train you in the essentials of disaster preparedness for your local community. You will learn Fire Safety, Light Search & Rescue, Disaster Medical Operations & Psychology, Terrorism and experience a Disaster Simulation. This is an excellent course and well worth the time invested in it! You will be able to use the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, to assist others in your neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.  You will need to bring a sack lunch on Saturday.
