CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) Training – October 15 & 16, 2021

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Training Friday, October 15, 6:00PM-10:00PM & Saturday, October 16, 8:00AM-6:00PM (14 hour training) Location TBD ADRN highly recommends this internationally recognized training for volunteers who are called to help people in times of crisis and/or called to the mission field. This training will equip participants to deal with the mental, emotional and spiritual issues most people encounter in times of disaster, including trauma, learning debriefing techniques and much more. The CISM Core Team (certified CISM Instructors) instructs this class. All participants will receive a certification of completion in Disaster Psychological 1st Aid and CISM/CISD (Critical Incident Stress Management/Critical Incident Stress Debriefing) after completing 6 hours of course time then participating in a 3 hour Simulation. CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management) Virtual Simulation

Virtual Simulation | 6 Hours |  Friday, March 19, 6:00PM-9:00PM & Saturday,  March 20, 10:00AM-1:00PM At your home on your computer This simulation gives the student virtual opportunity to exhibit skills in debriefing and practice administrative details in CISM response. All participants will join in a virtual classroom and group call to accomplish skills/administrative practice. All who successfully complete the online training and simulation will receive a certificate of completion in Disaster Psychological 1st Aid and CISM/CISD (Critical Incident Stress Management/Critical Incident Stress Debriefing) and your profile will be updated as completed for the course. To be certified (qualified for deployment) you need to submit a copy of your IS-100 completion certificate. Go to www.fema.gov to take this 3 hour course You will be notified by email specific information how to join us for this event, when you successfully complete CISM Online Training. You will need to have a computer or smart phone with computer and camera capabilities to successfully navigate through simulation.
