Missionary: Katherine Ellis

Hello my name is Katherine Ellis.

How I love the Lord! He has given me a new life, a new identity, and now a new mission! He has my heart, and I want to follow Him wherever He leads me.

Fire Pearl Missions is the name of my missionary season, and I’m on fire about walking out the destiny God has planned for me in His service.

After 20+ years teaching graduate-level ESL and related teacher training courses, I am stepping into the work the Lord has laid before me – to be a missionary for Christ, more specifically a crisis response missionary bringing hope into crisis with Austin Disaster Relief Network.  From the get-go, I have felt called to disaster preparedness, and I am truly blessed to be able to partner with ADRN in its mission to unite the Church to serve in this area.

With five years experience of disaster relief, numerous disaster deployments, and countless God stories from the field, becoming a crisis response missionary is the next step in my journey to serve full-time as the hands and feet of Christ to those in need.

My heart fills with gladness to encourage and love others in times of testing and disaster, and to share His beauty, His faithfulness, and His love for us all.  I am dedicated to His kingdom work as my life’s work and to grow in knowledge, revelation, and wisdom of His Word, while pursuing Him with all that I have.

Looking forward to sharing more with you at Fire Pearl Missions!
