Austin Disaster Relief Network and Hope Family Thrift Store is always looking for Community Volunteers in our Thrift Store and Warehouse to help support our long-term Hurricane Harvey response and daily operational needs to help us continue our focused mission work locally and during disaster. The need is also great for Network volunteers trained in Administration (Logistics) and Emotional Care (CISM Trained) to meet the needs of survivors impacted by apartment fires, storms and Hurricane Harvey. Training Admin Volunteers:
ADRN is looking for volunteers who can commit 3-4 hours each week to do light clerical work? 
Or, would you like to be a part of the Training Admin Team that facilitates Orientations? To volunteer, please email Sharon Collier.

Cashier (Hope Family Thrift Store): 
Hope Family Thrift Store is now accepting applications for a full time cashier. Must be able to work Saturdays and be friendly, outgoing and welcoming to store customers. Hours are 9:45am – 6:15pm.  Come by the store and pick up an application. Interested? Please email manager@hopefamilythrift.org

Journalism / Copywriter Intern or Volunteer Needed:
ADRN is looking for several passionate volunteers and/or interns who will help write and edit content, build stories, create/edit articles and maintain our community awareness as we serve in and out of the disaster field.  Photojournalism a plus. Technical Editing a plus. Work within Word or Pages to create content. Maintain a story database with images to coincide with published pieces. Work with various departments, reporting to the Creative Director for content strategy. Gain valuable experience for a portfolio or volunteer your time. Looking for a weekly commitment of 3-4 hours or on a project basis.

Photographers / Film and Videographers:
ADRN is looking for several passionate volunteers and/or interns who will capture the work of the ministry during survivor care, internal operations, disaster deployments and more. Gain valuable experience for a portfolio or volunteer your time to help ADRN build impact stories. Looking for a 6 month commitment (fall/spring).

Field Operations Manager: The Field Operations Manager plays a key role in supporting ADRN’s response by managing all tactical (physical support branch) and spiritual (emotional support branch) activities during an incident, expanding the recruitment, retention, maintenance, and engagement of Field Operations volunteers, and providing coordination, leadership and spiritual development of assigned CORE Teams. Donor Care Admin Volunteers Needed: ADRN is looking for several passionate and committed volunteers who can serve 3-4 hours each week to care for our valued financial partners.  Activities include doing light clerical work, making occasional phone calls, handwritten thank you cards,  assisting with donor engagement events,  stuffing monthly mail-outs and more.  Interested? To volunteer, please email allison.geraci@adrntx.org.

Grant Writer/Research/Reporting Needed: ADRN is looking for several committed volunteers willing to serve 3-10 hours per week researching and/or writing grant applications for ADRN's growing needs, Harvey survivors and operational resources.  Many grant opportunities are available since Hurricane Harvey and the need is great for dedicated volunteers to help ADRN acquire these resources.  For questions or to volunteer, please email allison.geraci@adrntx.org.

Partner Program Volunteers Needed: ADRN is looking for several passionate and committed volunteers who can serve 3-4 hours each week to care for our valued monthly partners and donors.  Activities include making calls to donors once every 5-6 months to thank them, invite them to next donor engagement event, pray for them.  Also, to acknowledge/encourage long-term partners,  encourage volunteers to prayerfully consider becoming a monthly partner, help implement ADRN's Partner Program.  Committed volunteers must be able to speak professionally, be comfortable talking on the phone, love people, email occasionally, record phone activity in ACT database and set reminders for followup calls.  Interested? To volunteer, please email allison.geraci@adrntx.org.
