ADRN Mobilizes

Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key, Florida, as a dangerous Category 3 storm and weakened to a Category 1 as it cut through the state and moved offshore, according to the National Hurricane Center. More than 3.3 million people were left without power, and at least 6 are dead from various tornadoes. Flooding and water rescues are under way in many parts of the Florida west coast, while widespread damage and cleanup efforts are expected to span months.
