SHEPHERD A FAMILY (DRS) – OVER 350+ FAMILIES REMAIN TO BE SPONSORED
With ADRN’s response to the flood and fire disasters, ADRN has over 500 families asking the Church to sponsor them. Would you prayerfully consider sponsoring one of them? Our goal is to have every family sponsored within 2 weeks from the date we received their application. ADRN’s #1 goal is to sponsor families affected by disaster in order to meet their emotional, spiritual and physical needs. ADRN is looking to train and equip local church volunteers with the necessary tools to help sponsor families, including in-kind resources, financial aid, emergency hotel and transportation, and much more.

VOLUNTEER TO HELP REBUILD
ADRN is updating this information and will post new information as soon as it becomes available. As ADRN’s disaster relief response to aid survivors moves into the rebuilding/repair phase of recovery in partnership with several organizations (CAM) and other local relief agencies with regards to the Memorial Weekend floods and the Bastrop County Fires, more opportunities for volunteers will arise over the next few months as specific skill sets and areas of support will be needed as volunteer organizations help with the construction and rebuilding of hundreds of homes in the various areas affected. Donations are greatly needed at this time to help purchase building materials to complete homes.

CLEANUP OPPORTUNITIES
ADRN is actively leading the efforts of cleanup from the recent floods. Volunteers are asked to bring wheelbarrows, utility knives, shovels, gloves, crowbars, and hammers if available. Wear boots and jeans for safety. Bring lunch and water for the day. Teams will be debriefed and deployed into the field to assist families in the muck out of their homes. Volunteers are asked to be ADRN badged, but it is not required. General volunteers may sign up to deploy with ADRN teams. ALL Volunteers can sign up through this link>>
