Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM+)
Following the impact of disaster, families struggle to pick up the pieces of their lives. Survivors are in need of immediate emotional and spiritual care to help walk them through the next steps – bringing clarity in the midst of a very difficult time as they realize they are unable to cope.
CISM+ is an internationally recognized training presented by ADRN’s Crisis Intervention Team (CIT). CISM+ equips individuals with crisis intervention techniques and coping mechanisms to assist survivors of trauma and help move them into recovery. This training consists of course instruction followed by a simulation where participants will put into practice the skills learned throughout the course.
Age Restrictions: Recommended for teens 16 years of age and above.
COST: $65 per person- includes a light breakfast, lunch, snacks, and all course materials
