Location: Hyde Park Baptist Church, 3901 Speedway, Austin, TX 78751 Training dates are January 20, 27, February 10, 17, 24 and March 3, 2019   Preparedness Peace covers topics of: Why Prepare, Teamwork and the Power of a Plan, How to be Water Wise and Food Sense, Power Alley, Having a Safe Home, About Grab & Go Bags, and Establishing Home Security. What you will accomplish by the end of Preparedness Peace is family plans and documents, safe home assessment, lighting and energy plans for power outage, evacuation plans with maps and routes, minimum three day food and water storage, car kit, home emergency supplies established, grab and go bags, shelter-in-place room and supplies and spiritual preparedness. The manual includes grab & go bag information, car and preparedness checklist, and more. This class is open to anyone that wants to attend. DRS (Disaster Relief Shepherd) Training 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm ADRN Headquarters, 1122 E. 51st Street, Austin, TX 78723 Training is FREE! Finish this training – sponsor a family! Click to register! DRS (Disaster Relief Shepherd) Training – Course Time 3.5 hours:  The Disaster Relief Shepherd (DRS) is one of ADRN most important leadership roles a volunteer can play within their church in times of disaster. The DRS job is to be willing to walk along side a family that has potentially lost everything and needs a Good Samaritan to be there for them through the process of recovery until their feet are back on the ground. This training will equip you with the skills, knowledge and plan to take care and provide extended assistance that cannot be given by governments or International relief agencies. This training is FREE. ADRN Orientation & Preparedness Training and a Background Check is required to become a Disaster Relief Shepherd and receive an ADRN advance trained white badge with SHEPHERD title. Online Training at www.adrn.org/sr Tuesdays January 22, 29, &, February 5,  6:30PM-9:30PM Course Time: 9 hours - Must complete all 3 nights to receive credit for course Click to register! Spiritual Readiness Training – Course Time 9hrs:  ADRN is hosting this foundational training class to help volunteers become spiritually prepared and grounded in truth to help those in need, in times of disaster (including yourself).  This class will also teach you how to apply 7 key provisions made available to every born-again believer, to empower you to stand against the wiles of the enemy and to walk in faith to overcome trials and tribulations that may occur in times of crisis. This training is offered online three Tuesdays and all 3 nights need to be attended to receive credit.  (RC Level 2) Training is FREE. Video Training is available at www.adrn.org/sr from 12:00PM-12:00PM for 24 hours day of training. You will need to complete a test, by 5PM the following day, at the end of each session to receive credit for the course.

HOPE PRAYER ROOM - Healing Room Training Saturday, January 26, 9:00AM- 5:00PM Location:  Hope Prayer Room, 1122 E. 51st Street, Austin, TX 78723 Healing Room Overview, This training is equipping the body of Christ with resources, tools, and experience that prepares the heart to actively respond to the desire of God's heart in ministry.  This training focus' on healing ministry, outreach evangelism, corporate deliverance awareness, and how to study the Word of God (Word Watch).  This is open to anyone who has a heart to minister to the broken hearted and to reach the lost and advance the kingdom of God through His mighty works. First Baptist Church, 306 Round Rock Avenue, Round Rock, TX 78664 6:30PM-9:00PM, Thursday, January 31   Every new volunteer who wants to join the ADRN network is required to take this 3hr class to give you an introduction to ADRN, information about ADRN training, a training roadmap for volunteers, badging/credentials, how emergency response works in Greater Austin and CERT individual/family preparedness training. Every volunteer who completes this course will receive an ADRN badge and become a certified ADRN volunteer. REGISTER HERE
