Prepare to become a vital part of ADRN’s Call Center, the heart of disaster response, where you’ll be at the forefront of providing essential support. In times of crisis, the Call Center receives an influx of up to 1,000 calls per day from individuals in desperate need of information, someone to talk to, prayer, or sponsorship from caring Shepherds within our church network. Additionally, the Call Center serves as a crucial resource hub, collecting vital information on available supplies, donations, businesses offering services, and eager volunteers seeking ways to help.
Through this invaluable training, you’ll gain the necessary skills to efficiently navigate our phone system and respond compassionately to those in dire need. Moreover, you’ll be prepared to fill various important positions within the Call Center, each playing an equally significant role. To enhance your learning experience, the training culminates in a realistic simulation, allowing you to put your newly acquired skills into practice and fully grasp the impact of the position. Get ready to be the voice of hope, comfort, and guidance in critical times, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who reach out, as you embrace the fulfilling responsibility of the Call Center.
To volunteer in the ADRN Call Center, you must complete I AM Ready Basic Training, Call Center Training, and have a passed background check.
