Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) On Demand Training — March 30 – June 9, 2022
On Demand at your own pace from March 30 - June 9, 2022 Not on site - In your own home! Followed by Skills Practice/Evaluation on Saturday, June 11, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Simulation on Saturday, June 18, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Jollyville Fire Department There is no cost to take this training - There will be an opportunity to give a love offering. Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) classroom training is now On Demand! Do this 12-hour FEMA online training in the comfort of your home and on your schedule, instead of carving out 5-6 specific nights to attend on site. To complete the 28-hour FEMA requirement, ADRN offers a unique 2.5 hour Spiritual Training component, a 8-hr on-site Skills Practice/ Evaluation, and a 8-hr Simulation on two consecutive Saturdays. Some of the topics covered include: Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Medical Operations, Disaster Psychology, Fire Safety, Light Search and Rescue, and Terrorism and so much more! What makes ADRN CERT qualifications unique from other CERT training is the spiritual training component we provide along with the life-like CERT simulations. HAM Team Meetings
HAM Team Meeting is to support all ADRN HAM trained volunteers. Come learn how to program your radio, proper radio communications, how to build HAM go bag tools like antennas, generators, etc.
