Training is $35 prepaid online before September 5 & $45 at the door thereafter. Location: Austin Vineyard Church (Kids Church area), 13208 Morris Road, Austin, TX 78729 Training dates are September 10, 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15 Preparedness Peace covers topics of: Why Prepare, Teamwork and the Power of a Plan, How to be Water Wise and Food Sense, Power Alley, Having a Safe Home, About Grab & Go Bags, and Establishing Home Security. What you will accomplish by the end of Preparedness Peace is family plans and documents, safe home assessment, lighting and energy plans for power outage, evacuation plans with maps and routes, minimum three day food and water storage, car kit, home emergency supplies established, grab and go bags, shelter-in-place room and supplies and spiritual preparedness. The manual includes grab & go bag information, car and preparedness checklist, and more. This class is open to anyone that wants whether you are a member of this church or not. Live Stream Training Tuesdays August 27, September 3 & 10 Course Time: 9 hours - Must complete all 3 modules to receive credit for course Click to register! Spiritual Readiness Training – Course Time 9hrs: ADRN is hosting this foundational training class to help volunteers become spiritually prepared and grounded in truth to help those in need, in times of disaster (including yourself). This class will also teach you how to apply 7 key provisions made available to every born-again believer, to empower you to stand against the wiles of the enemy and to walk in faith to overcome trials and tribulations that may occur in times of crisis. This training will be live-streamed three Tuesdays and all 3 modules need to be viewed to receive credit. (RC Level 2) Training is FREE. You will need to complete a test by 5:00 PM the Thursday following at the end of each session to receive credit for the course.Find out more »

Note: Most courses listed require volunteers to login. Login access is provided to our volunteers after completion of ADRN’s Orientation and Preparedness course. Online registration and payment for classes in advance can prevent an additional $25 administrative fee added to payments received at the door.
