IMT (Incident Management Team) Training – Course Time 5 hours: The Incident Management Team (IMT) is a key leadership team composed of experienced and trained volunteers that ADRN relies on in times of deployment. The role of an IMT member is to assist with the planning and management of ADRN deployments of both ADRN badged volunteers and community volunteers. These deployments are in times of disaster preparedness, such as simulation, and times of disaster response. ADRN goal is to have a deep bench of trained IMT members across all 12 sectors of the ADRN 5-County region. The IMT training will provide a refresher on the Incident Command System (ICS) and a focused discussion on how ADRN utilizes the ICS to achieve the assigned operational objective (e.g., CISM debriefing at an intake center or door-to-door; muck-out/clean-out, donations management, etc) in a God-honoring manner. Following completion of the IMT training, and certification as a member of the IMT, opportunities will be made available to practice the IMT skills through the use of disaster simulations. Pre-requisites to take this training are IS-200, CERT or CISM Training and minimally 4 deployments with ADRN within the past 5 years. This training is FREE. Donations accepted.
