HEB Delivers with Heart

HEB is nothing short of amazing in their support for Disaster Response in our community!! Alex, an HEB truck driver, donated his time and made two trips from Austin Disaster Relief Network’s Austin Warehouse on Loop 360 to our San Marcos Warehouse, a newly opened 40,000 sq foot warehouse to help meet the needs of flood survivors. Making the trips over a 2 day turn, Alex and HEB helped ADRN move 24 pallets each day of donated hygiene/cleaning supplies to the San Marcos location in order for flood survivors to conveniently pick up these needed products along with furniture/household items already being collected and stored at this location. Alex had to use an electric pallet jack and do each pallet by hand. He had an amazing attitude and offered to come back if needed! Thank you Alex and HEB!! What a blessing you are to ADRN, the flood survivors and our community!

KOHL’s Associates Deliver

We would like to thank KOHL’s who brought together over 52 associates from various stores through out the state to come in and help ADRN at our HOPE FAMILY THRIFT STORE. Stores represented were the following: Georgetown, North Austin, Leander, Killeen, Temple, Sunset Valley, Round Rock, Kyle and a few associates traveled from the district office out of Houston. The volunteers helped sort, price and itemize clothing to help us move donated items, given by the community, on to the floor, providing flood survivors with more items to select from while shopping. We are thankful for partners in the community like KOHL’s and others who continue to give of their time to others who are in great need.  ADRN is donating items to flood survivors to help meet their immediate needs following the Memorial Weekend floods affecting various counties throughout the area. To date, ADRN has given away over $10,000 in clothing to flood survivors. To volunteer with ADRN at our Thrift Store, visit our site.
